Whether or not you purchase the product, it will not affect your application for credit or the terms of any existing credit agreement you have with us. We will give you additional information before you are required to pay for coverage. This information will include a copy of the contract containing the terms and conditions. There are eligibility requirements, conditions, and exclusions that could prevent you from receiving benefits. You should carefully read your contract for a full explanation of the terms and conditions of the program.
Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP)
You could lose more than your vehicle if it is stolen or involved in a major accident. For example, most insurance policies only cover the value of your vehicle. While your loan balance could be much higher than that value, you would be left owing the difference.
